What this site collects
Last updated 8 November 2026.
The short version
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking of any kind. Nothing is collected unless you choose to send it: an email to me, a message to the assistant on a demo site, or a form on a demo site.
If you email me
Your email sits in my inbox, which is Gmail. I use it to reply to you and nothing else. I never sell it or add it to a mailing list.
The demo sites and their assistant
The demo businesses are fictional, but the websites and the AI assistant are real and working. If you chat with an assistant or submit a form on a demo site:
- the message, and any name, phone number or email you type, are stored in a database I run on Cloudflare, and emailed to me as a test lead;
- the message is sent to Google's Gemini API to produce the reply, under Google's terms;
- your IP address is used to rate-limit abuse and is stored with the message.
Because the demos are public, please don't type anything you wouldn't want me to read. The assistant never asks for card or payment details, and the store checkouts are simulated: no payment is taken and no card data is collected or stored anywhere.
Who processes what
- Cloudflare hosts the sites and the database, and sees the usual request logs.
- Google (Gemini API) generates the assistant's replies.
- Resend delivers the lead emails.
- Google (Gmail) holds my inbox.
How long it is kept
Demo chats and test leads are kept while the demos are up so I can see how the assistant behaves, and deleted when they are no longer useful. Emails are kept as long as the conversation is relevant.
Your choices
Ask me to delete anything you have sent and I will, including demo chats and test leads. Email basesystemsstudio@gmail.com.
Client sites
Sites I build for clients run on the client's own domain and accounts. The client is responsible for their own privacy notice; this one covers basesystemsstudio.com and the demo sites only.
